Other things you should know about me
Job title: Office Manager
How I arrived at my clinic: I was found as a stray kitten when I was about 6 to 8 weeks old and bought into the clinic. The owner's 6 year old daughter happened to be visiting when I arrived and it was love at first sight. She begged and pleaded and before anyone knew it, I belonged to the clinic and the clinic belonged to me. It has been my home ever since and I have helped many clients and staff members in their times of need. I give the most comforting cuddles and have become irreplaceable.
My favourite things: My favourite things include cuddling (whether it be with staff, clients or their children), dipping my paw into a water bowl and drinking that way, belly rubs and over grooming myself in a Brazilian fashion.
My naughtiest habits: With 16 years experience comes a lot of confidence. I have a habit of confronting clients dogs when they happen to be minding their own business. This can often result in them retaliating and causing quiet a commotion. I also like to make myself at home in patients carry cages whilst they are in recovery.. I am lucky that I have not been sent home with clients accidentally but there is still a chance it may happen one day!
My special needs: As the years have passed I have been blessed with happiness and good health. Unfortunately over the last 5 years I have been suffering with chronic arthritis in all of my legs. I have been on every anti inflammatory drug available with minimal success. I am on Metacam daily to manage the pain but I am still old and stiff. Winter is becoming increasingly challenging for me. 12 months ago I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and am currently taking 1 Felimazole 2.5mg twice daily. It has helped me immensely and I am fighting fit to the best of my ability.
