Other things you should know about me
Job title: ‘Chief Customs officer’; ensuring no animal, human being or disease enters without a thorough inspection.
How I arrived at the clinic: I was initially purchased as a shed cat but was thoroughly disappointed with my owner and job description. I am more of the ‘new age’ kind of fella and thought that I would be much better suited to a life of relaxation, cat-a-chinos and socialisation. So I moved in to the vet clinic down the road!
My favourite things: My first favourite thing would obviously be food, of course! Followed closely by welcoming customers at the door. I thoroughly appreciate the dedication of the veterinary girls in ensuring that I always have a warm seat to inhabit (however I do sometimes get the impression that I am in the way). Lastly I enjoy helping out with clinic tasks, such as folding the drapes, helping the vets type their histories and pre-warming cages for surgical patients.
My naughtiest habits: eating the hospital animal’s food, defecating behind the cages (in very hard to reach places), terrorising the other cats that come for holidays at the clinic and performing taste testing on the clinic food left unattended.
My special needs: As I eluded to earlier, I am a bit of a sensitive guy! This often results in binge eating during periods of stress which inevitably leads to crash dieting. I am also caught spraying to maintain territory within the clinic and require patching up following punch up’s with the feral cats.
