Job title
Assistant Practice Manager/Animal Welfare OfficerMy day-to-day task list
Day to day tasks include taste testing treats and patient food for freshness and quality, supervising consults and surgeries to ensure best practice is being performed, pacifying staff members during times of high stress and making sure patients towels and bedding is clean and dry.My favourite things
My favourtie things include food, walking across keyboards, sitting on open text books while vets are studying, teasing dogs and helping the girls finish their lunches in the tea room. I also really love playing with empty vaccine vials and theiving pens from the front desk, although I have noticed this doesn't go down so well with my humans! My naughtiest habit
Helping myself to treats out of the consult room and opening bags of food out the front when my humans haven't fed me enough. What do my clients think of me?
Obviously my clients think I'm pretty awesome! They love giving me a scratch behind the ears and they especially appreciate that I greet them and their animal in the waiting room. Some clients have been a bit critical of my recent weight gain, I think those comments have contributed to my new diet.Other things you should know about me
When I arrived at the clinic last year I'd been living on the streets. I was very skinny and had lost most of my coat....not attractive at all! At this point I'd realised street life really wasn't for me, and was lucky enough to be handed into Warwick Town & Country Vets. At first they'd mentioned calling welfare, so I turned on the charm quick smart and was adopted as a new member of staff. I love being a clinic cat so much that I don't even enjoy my walks outside very much, I tolerate it to keep the humans happy!
