"A Clinic is not a clinic without at least one cat"

Job title

CEO, Principal, Communications & Operations.

My day-to-day task list

The days starts with my thyroid medication and a quick surveillance lap around the outside perimeter of the clinic. Hopefully some thoughtful client will confuse me as a stray and carry me back into reception. The nurses will pop me back outside where I’ll wait for the next client - this game continues most of the morning. This is all very tiring for a cat of my age and wisdom so then it's time for a mid-day snack and nap. In the afternoon I like to interrupt as many consults as possible and on more than a few occasions I’ve put a few dogs back in their place with a quick paw to the nose if they get to close. Evening comes along and I get my daily dose of cancer treatment (it tastes so gross that I try to spit most of it out) and then it's off to bed to dream of fish and chicken.

My favourite things

I love chicken obviously, roasted is my favorite but also I love getting into boxes, cupboards, purses and cars. I also like greeting all our lovely clients and interrupting consults.

My naughtiest habit

The other day when no-one was paying attention I jumped into the handbag of a lovely client and went to the toilet. Hehe. Im old you see and I can't quite hold it. The vet was none-to impressed but when you gotta go - you gotta go.

What do my clients think of me?

I hope most of them like me. I know there are a number of very caring clients who are quite concerned about my health and ask about me every time they visit. Most clients are used to seeing me roaming around the clinic. I’ve been here for a long time.

Other things you should know about me

I have my own facebook page and I’d love you to add me as a friend, Just search “Memphis Lake Road Vet” and you can keep up with all my antics year round.
