Perfection is achievable when you are me
Job titleClinic security
My day-to-day task listEat, sleep, monitor entrants into clinic, sleep, pester clinic staff, sleep some more, beg for more food and eat again, defecate in litter tray just before closing and just before nurses leave (only because I love them), and finally sleep.
My favourite thingsSleeping in unusual locations; I like to assess every surface and location as a possible sleeping place. Currently my favourites are the sink in consult room one in the afternoon (the sun comes in just perfectly through the window here in the afternoon), and the towels in the hospital room.
My naughtiest habitCurrently it has been stealing liver treats and dried fish treats from the consult rooms when no one is looking (although I have been caught out a couple of times), and then because I have gorged myself, vomiting on my bed (which the nurses then have to clean). Although the naughtiest thing I have ever done was chew up the cords of the dental machine, until it had to be replaced. I also Swipe clients trying to pay if I am on the front counter. I also on occasion have managed to escape from my bedroom at night and set the alarm off, but I only do this because I sometimes get lonely in the middle of the night.
What do my clients think of me?They love me, and who wouldn’t. I have even featured in the local paper and was given mention for my important work as local clinic cat. What can I say, being a celebrity is hard work.
Other things you should know about me
I am currently undertaking anger management classes with my Vets and Vet nurses as I can get very cranky very quickly, especially with small children. I still have to be supervised, but we are making slow progress.
