Cats do all the real work anyway...
Job titlePractice Manager - Diploma in Feline Behaviour
My day-to-day task listDuring the day I am responsible for assisting in reception (hissing at patients I don't like, greeting clients with head bops and asking for cuddles), overseeing hospital operations (following the nurses EVERYWHERE) and managing files (placing files from desk on the floor, keeping papers warm, shredding documents with my claws). At night I am in charge of clinic security, I am on call 24/7 for gecko management and I am always waiting at the door in the morning to clock in the nurses.
My favourite thingsWhen I am not busy working I enjoy a good groom with my favourite slicker brush, napping and cuddling on the lounge is always fun as well as regularly monitoring my food bowl to ensure the nurses are keeping it adequately stocked.
My naughtiest habitI am the perfect cat so I expect the first thing the nurses do in the morning is to fill up my food bowl. If they don't I will meow and meow and meowww until they do. How can you run a clinic on an empty stomach?
What do my clients think of me?My clients think I am the most beautiful cat they have ever seen, and I am...
Other things you should know about me
My name is Marilyn or as I am more often called, MAZZA. I have my own profile on the Wide Bay Vet Surgery website where you can also find info about my employees. I have even had reps come in asking to see Marilyn the Practice Manager. This clinic just wouldn't run without me. Next time you are in the clinic if I'm not out the front running reception ask to speak to Mazza.
