Job title

Chief Trouble Maker

My clinic duties

My main duties in the clinic include Head of the Meet and Greet party, Wallet smooching, Chief goldfish watcher, Equipment inspector, Dog food tester, Staff lunch taster and Kitten Disciplinarian. I am also on hand for occasional smooches and the odd playdate.

My favourite things

My favourite things include FOOD, fish on stick toys, SNACKS, allowing smooches for a limited time before swiping, DAIRY PRODUCTS, helping my vets write their histories by sitting on the keyboard, STAFF LUNCHES, not moving when a big dog is coming towards me, STEALING INPATIENTS FOOD, sunbaking in the staffroom

My naughtiest habit

I enjoy chewing on anything plastic - including (but not limited to) anaesthetic machines, dental machine tubing, pipettes, drip lines, pulse ox cords, and my all time favourite examination gloves.

What makes me an important part of the team?

I am the uniting factor of my clinic. I can make everyone agree on one fact when I pee on the consult table. They would be lost without me reminding them that no matter how good they are, they can't forget they also have to clean up cat pee.

Other things you should know about me

  • I was dumped at the clinic as a young kitten and quickly worked my mind control skills to convince them to let me stay
  • I can hear a tub of yoghurt being opened from anywhere in the clinic
  • I occasionally enjoy a quick jaunt to the carpark and love the resulting heart attacks the nurses have
  • I work hard for the money - I will preferrentially smooch clients that I can see have a $50 note in their wallet
  • I am the protector of the bunbuns - I will sit on top of their cages until the vets come to collect them.
  • I am the personal trainer of all of the clinic goldfish - without me they would just stay in the one spot all day and get fat!
  • My favourite memory is the time my vets gave me an exlap because I ate too many gloves
  • I have a personal preference for the 13KG bags of dog food - but I feel that quality control is key so will regularly test the bags for flavour
  • I make sure the clinic always has the newest equipment by giving them a quick nibble when I feel they are outdated
  • I ensure the floors are always clean when the patients leave - even in the dog ward. I refuse to let one scrap of food be left behind
  • I teach the kittens that come through for adoptions how to cat, play and behave. They would be lost without me
  • One of my favourite past times is having staring competitions with bugs and birds out the treatment room window.
  • My favourite bed is in the shape of a shark - my staff say it's very fitting but I dont get it....
