One Cat To Rule Them All
My clinic dutiesThe Fluffy Receptionist that greets every client, Overseer of clinic paperwork (namely sitting on them and chewing them up), Chair hoarder, Mop chaser, Warming up the office chair in winter
My favourite thingsMy bed, Sleeping in My Bed, Kitty zoomies from the waiting room couch to the office chair and back again, Investigating the in-patients
My naughtiest habitI rip up letters in envelopes that are ready to be posted, I help "unpack" the order by sitting in the boxes that contains everything, Sleeping on the clean laundry, I chew on elbows when I have the devil in me (generally after sleeping all morning, and after everyone is tired after surgery I start bothering them)
What makes me an important part of the team? She is the face we see every morning and the last 'patient' of the day. This helps us unwind when we can give her a good cuddle. Clients all adore her and her prettiness and she is the clinic mascot.
Other things you should know about me
The Tail of Katya, the 3-legged cat.
Katya was only a little 10 week old kitten when she was surrendered by her previous owner to VetLove Kuraby because she had a fractured stifle. Unfortunately the only option to save her was an amputation. She may have lost her right hind leg but she recovered remarkably after surgery.
She gets around perfectly well on 3 legs and still has plenty more cheekiness left in her to get up to mischief
Note: This tale had nothing to do with a real tail.
