Dermatology Nurse
Veterinary Nurse

Lisa started her animal and nursing career in her mid 20’s where she volunteered at the local animal shelter and within a month found a job rehoming dogs. A few years after, she chased the veterinary nursing path and worked for six years at a family veterinary practice becoming their first qualified veterinary nurse and later progressed to practice manager. She then worked at a brand new small boutique vet clinic and was instrumental in helping set-up and form the nursing standards and procedures over six years.

Lisa joined the Dermcare Vet team mid 2018 working in the Animal Allergy & Dermatology Services vet clinic in supporting Dr Ken Mason with his dermatology cases and as his personal assistant as Director of Dermcare Vet. She also works as an Immunotherapy Technician manufacturing allergy vaccines for Dermcare.

Outside of work she spends time with her husband and two boys on outdoor adventures camping, bushwalking, boating and fishing. Like all vet nurses, she is owned by some interesting creatures on their property with chickens, ducks and small parrots on their property, “Jessie” a Mastiff X, “Ruby Roo” a Kelpie x Doberman and “Tinka” a Tortoiseshell Medium-haired cat who was one of Ken’s charity cases.
