What do I do if it rains after application?

Heavy rain may reduce the applied dose, and reapplication may be required if clinical signs return. The horse should be stabled or otherwise covered if rain is expected within 48 hours of application. In the event of unexpected heavy rain within 48 hours of application, the treatment could be reapplied to ensure adequate efficacy. Do not wash horse within 48 hours of application. If the horse becomes wet within 48 hours of application, it is recommended to monitor the horse for any return or worsening of clinical signs and seek advice from a veterinarian.

Restraints: 

DO NOT USE on horses that may be used for human consumption. DO NOT USE on foals and horses under 12 weeks of age. DO NOT USE on cats. 

Directions for use:

  1. Apply to a damp coat after wetting the coat down with water. Ensure the mane and tail are sufficiently wet to allow penetration of the product to the level of the skin.
  2. Apply to the body regions most commonly targeted by biting insects and nuisance flies.
    Apply once per week for up to 12 weeks or as directed by a veterinarian for control of biting insects and apply as required for control of nuisance flies. Apply a maximum of 40 pumps (60mL) per horse per treatment.
  3. Massage into the coat until the product reaches the skin. Ensure the product is worked well into the crest, mane and tail.
  4. Leave on the coat to dry.

Dosage:

Apply a maximum of 40 pumps (60mL) per horse per treatment once weekly.
